Pray for me
I am currently preparing for a show I'll be in next Monday, a benefit to be staged in an historic theater in Greenwhich Village. I'll be doing a song called "Sing" which is about a girl who can't sing. It's from A Chorus Line. It's perfect for me since I can't sing for beans. Here's the rub: this song about not singing is a patter song. That means it has about a billion lyrics "sung" rhythmically. It should be called "Memory" since not only can I not sing, I can't remember the damned words!
